Our MissionBand of Brothers is a group of men ministering to men. Men of all ages and backgrounds. Men serving to sharpen each other for spiritual battle and taking a stand for Christ. Men committed to each other for the cause that counts – to be Kingdom Men.
A Kingdom Man is a male who places himself under the rule of God and living in submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Instead of following his own way, a Kingdom Man serves to know God’s will and carry out God’s Kingdom agenda on earth. When a Kingdom Man functions according to the principles and precepts of the Kingdom, there will be order and provision.
Man to ManMen, the greatest gift that you can give your family and your church is your personal holiness. It starts in your mind. What are you dwelling on?
“Finally brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.”
Man to Man
As recipients of God’s grace we are called to be obedient. It’s the least we can do in gratitude to our Lord for His sacrifice. What does this obedience look like? I like the way that Paul and John describe it as walking in a manner worthy of the gospel. We can never earn grace or be worthy of His grace, but our walk should honor Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior – every waking moment, every action, every thought , every day.
Ephesians 4:1 “…walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love…
Philippians 1:27 “…conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ…”
Colossians 1:10 “…walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
I Thessalonians 2:12 “…walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.”
I John 2:6 “the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.”
